Definitely, maybe.

Sometimes I'm right and I can be wrong
My own beliefs are in my song
The butcher, the banker, the drummer and then
Makes no difference what group I'm in
I am everyday people, yeah yeah
There is a blue one who can't accept the green one
For living with a fat one trying to be a skinny one
And different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo-bee
Oh sha sha - we got to live together
I am no better and neither are you
We are the same whatever we do
You love me you hate me you know me and then
You can't figure out the bag l'm in
I am everyday people, yeah yeah
There is a long hair that doesn't like the short hair
For bein' such a rich one that will not help the poor one
And different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo-bee
Oh sha sha-we got to live together
There is a yellow one that won't accept the black one
That won't accept the red one that won't accept the white one
And different strokes for different folks

Kepada yang hampir selesai satu permulaan

Pray hard, study smart & smile!

Ekonomi oh ekonomi

Pada waktu cuti yang lalu aku sempat menjenguk (kena guna perkataan ini sebab aku keluar awal) Seminar Ekonomi Alternatif anjuran ASASI.

// Ustadh Abdul Hakim Othman, Presiden Hizbut Tahrir Malaysia : Bagaimana Menyelesaikan Krisis Ekonomi Dunia

// Khalid Jaafar, Pengarah IKD : Kapitalisme Memakmurkan Rakyat

Need to produce thinking students

There has to be a system able to educate and equip
the people with all the tools necessary to face the complex
pressures of modern society.

WE celebrated Teachers’ Day a few weeks ago. Talk of education
always brings to my mind a speech given by Dorothy L. Sayers
at Oxford in 1947, which was later printed in essay form bearing
the title The Lost Tools of Learning.

Although Sayers was not an educationist, but rather a novelist,
her profound critique of the modern education system
has initiated a classical education movement in the US and Europe.

I first came across her ideas several years ago, and those ideas
have stayed in my mind. And I find them to be relevant more so now
as our government is planning to review or revamp our education system
and curriculum.

It is indeed timely for the Government to introduce a new education system
that is able to really educate and equip the people with all the tools necessary
to face the complex pressures of modern society.
