Then I received a SMS - my little sister is going to UKM doing Geology. What a timely news. Heh. I hope she'll be doing her job finding more oil for Malaysia. Good no 2.
The final good thing - I'm sharing "The Good Earth" by Pearl S. Buck with you, yes all the readers of this lame blog. It remains one of my favourite classics - plenty of morale values abound!

About the 'Good Earth', I remember reading it during my SMAPK days. Wow, that was about 9 or 10 years ago when my beloved English teacher recommended an appropriate book to study the English literature. Thank you to my SMAPK teachers for making me who I am today.
Sigh, how I long for the good old days...I guess I am becoming older now...
imho literature will be always relevant, as it potrays whats taking place in the society, regardless of which origin. well, unless you're reading something about ewoks or gungans.
of course, this also applies to the bahasa. poor a samad said when his works were considered 'too advanced' for high school lads. to me, even trying to unearth the gems in any literature is already a step forward to grow one self.
hmmm... i'm looking for few more texts to cover. anyone has good books on their shelf?
