Predeparture briefing
I met new friends, well mostly uk-bound, engineering geeks. And there's a bunch of guys will be doing their A level in UK too. Itenaries are given away, and it is confirmed that I am leaving on 25th September. Departure time 2340. Flight duration 13 hours and 10 minutes. I'll definitely will get jet-lagged after that long journey. Told by Kak Shidah that I'm gonna get my traveller's cheque on Friday. She challenged all of us to get first-class-honours degree, as she said, tough enviroment will make you a tough person. She is right. When people tend to be complacent, lazying around would be their habit. Am I right?
Then, I had another movie-marathon after predeparture briefing. Surprised that my CPUs temperature is stable, after getting the right way to position the fan.
When I choose medicine, they told me that someday, someplace and somehow you're going to make sacrifices. Like giving up something you really want now - girlfriend, hobby, etc for something you've dreamed for after these many years. Or even risking your sense of well-being and safety, just to make sure somebody still alive. But after a while, it doesn't feel like you're giving up anything at all. Ohhh God! What I am mumbling about?
Digicam and Munzir
Munzir confidently reckon that his Ixus II produces the best pics... It's definitely worth the money, and worth the sweat after wading thru endless crowd at PC Fair... but to me, using digicam is no sweat at all.
