Kita pun doa hari-hari... banyak kali pulak tu, tak gitu?
Ok jom kita keluar dan hirup udara segar.
i look, i forget, i look again, i forget again, i inspect, i recite it loud, i write it down, i remember... heh!
Ukhwah
Assalamualaikum warahmatullah,
Pic of the day - Firdaus & Nizam. Theme? Ukhwah. Sebut pasal ukhwah, sahabat di Malaysia dah pun nikah. Mabruklah Ikram! Tak boleh dah belanja kau seorang kalau aku turun UIA nanti, kena belikan untuk dua pulak (Foto by Ramzi: kenduri belah dia, kenduri belah isteri dia) dan senior Kak Liyana dengan Zuhdi (tak pernah jumpa).
Alhamdulillah... Man, I feel so old!

//Firdaus dan Nizam berborak sakan
Okay apa cerita Dublin ya?
-OSBE is a week away.
-Tomorrow is DID 2. Hi ho silver... jom kita pi. Know the ustaz and texts covered @ PPIMI.org
-Sunday, FOSIS AGM.
-Palestine is still issue, and will always be, as long as the occupying forces are there. C'mon, full-fledged, armed to teeth soldier versus innocent civilian. How do you reckon? So please donate to any PPIMI exco (for Dubliners), or log on to Interpal (this charity is approved by Charity Comission mind you), Muslim Aid (also in the commission) or MSM Palestine Appeal. For Malaysian, I think there are NGOs doing the fundraising as well. You know who are they. Also, Malaysian Goverment pledged to contribute too - what a good news.
...
Alhamdulillah the matter of hijab is solved. IMO, NCCRI, BH, Overseas Medics Ireland and the college agreed to it. Jazakallahukhairan to all. Let's pray that in other places elsewhere, it'll be the same outcome too.
Related to this, somehow I overheard about the difficult situation in Turkey. A friend of mine who went there for exchange programme also agreed. Well, it can't be other reason - full faith on secularism amongst the establishment. May Allah gives His hidayah...
...
Thinking of full conversion to Fedora. Is it worth the effort?

Ibu & Guru 2 - Remembering Someone
Bagaimana kami bertemu agak pelik. Sememangnya takdir Allah.
"Assalamualaikum abang, saya Muhammad..."
"Saya Abadi..."
"Saya Munzir..."
Hampeh punya majikan!
Situasi menjadi lebih mendesak apabila ibunya jatuh sakit. Muhammad sebenarnya ingin pulang ke kampungnya di Baling (to be exact Memali), demi menjaga ibu tuanya yang semakin tenat kesihatannya. Duit tiada, macam mana nak balik?
Makin pandai, makin kaya makin tunduk..."
"Apa ceritanya... dah mengucap, tapi perangai macam Yahudi!"
Kata beliau - Biarlah apa orang kata, kita sama-sama doakan semuanya syahid belaka...
Heh. You can't hide it forever. It's like ignoring an elephant sitting in your living room, while you're watching tv!
Hmmm Muhammad, sekiranya engkau membaca post ini, ingin saya ucapkan jutaan terima kasih. Walaupun sekejap, tapi amatlah bermakna.
Jarum jam pun dah tunjuk pukul 1.35 pagi. ZZZ

Ibu & Guru 1
Guru: Tanpa usaha doa restu dia, masakan aku tahu ABCD...

Nota: Semua pelajar putera pernah merasai kasih sayang 2 tapak tangannya, sebagai satu pengajaran berguna (jangan sampuk cakap orang tua) sampai bila-bila. Terima kasih ustaz!
Selamat Hari Ibu (sepatutnya hari-hari hari Ibu sebab doakan dia hari-hari) dan Guru (sama jugalah... hari-hari kita doakan selepas solat).
Harus diingat, bukan setakat SPM saja kita nak hormat guru. Malah bukan dengan guru saja kita hormati. Pensyarah kita wajib hormat (memang sangat obvious). Cikgu sekolah memandu? Hormat. Pemandu bas yang hantar kita ke sekolah? Hormat.
Terima kasih guru!

The Scholars Have Spoken
And so the scholars have spoken. (I have no financial relation whatsoever with The Survivor TV series).
Few weeks ago, I had a dream. Prior to that, I watched Paradise Now until late (ran it couple of times). Thanks to my interest in photography (eventhough that I feel my skill is pretty bad), I dreamt of being a photojournalist on a assignment in Nablus, West Bank, Palestine - what a really weird dream!
And so, on a fine clear morning, I went out and start exploring around with my driver. I passed checkpoints after checkpoints, snapping photos and all from the car. Feeling that better shots could be of my collection if I blend in with the Palestinians more, I decided to get off and walk instead, and arrange for my driver for pickup later in the afternoon.
Deep in my heart, I hope that out of hundreds of photos taken, a few could win the heart of the editors at NYT, Guardian, Haaretz (not Jpost, blatantly pro-Israel) or at least NST or Harakah (Utusan? Errr... not interested). If they don't care (like many other big newspapers), I am going to donate rights to my photos to Amal or MERCY or something like that back home.
It all started when I was walking down a busy street, armed with a camera on my left hand and a bag of pita bread on my right; I heard a loud bang from a few blocks away. It must a shell. Seconds after, gunfires and shouting reverbrates here and then. The crowd suddenly shaken, went panic and ran away elsewhere seeking for cover, who knows the next shell might drops right in front of you!
"Apa jadi ni?"
(What happened?)
Habis semua bersepai!"
(There's zionist's tank shelled a shop just now. Everyone's dead)
"Hah gila apa?"
(What? Are they out of their mind?)
"Memang gila!"
(They're all madmen!)
"Jom duk sini, selamat sket!"
(Let's hide for your life)
"Ok ok, tak guna nye penyangak!"
(Alright, damn you! - referring to the occupying forces)
(I had this funny and weird feeling - how come I could understand their Arabic? I am dreaming of being an Arab photojournalist or what?)
I rushed to her rescue and did not realise that a sniper is already aiming on her, trying to finish it her off. When I hold her up, a crackle of gunfire went aloud from distant, and within a blink of an eye, her neck burst out with blood - a bullet streaked in through, and she couldn't even cried for her pain. That left me redness all over me, with all the rage and hatred and anger in the world burning inside me. Argh!
Later on I was awaken by a thud on the window - must be a cat or something, and I realised that its 2 am in the morning. What a dream it was!
So folks, back to the topic - The Scholars Have Spoken

Boom! The second shell hit the bakery that I went in and bought the pita bread beforehand, which is about 30 metres away from my hiding, leaving it ablaze and the whole section of the shoplot begins to collapse. Pieces of bodies is everywhere. Nearby, I saw a little girl, sprawled on the ground, probably aged 8, crying for help as the blood trickling down her cheek. Must be a head wound. I snapped a few shots (less than a sec to do all this).

Sufaat
Assalamualaykum & greetings.
As you might notice now, I've moved my blog to a new domain. That means I've deleted every other posts except a few that is important.
sufaat.blogspot.com - why sufaat?
my other name is sufaat, and it is derived from the arabic word "syafaah" (arabic: shin-alif-fa-ein-ta marbutoh, plural: syafaat, replace ta marbutoh with alif and ta) which means a help, aid, mediator, etc; and infused with a bit of Javanese accent to become sufaat instead of syafaah/syafaat (plural). so there you are, a short intro about sufaat.
Just for the record, I did all this because I feel I am getting off-course, and therefore I believe I have start everything back from square one. Insha Allah, I'll try my best to uphold the concept of "in order to get you must give", ie. try to share anything that is in the interest of the ummah. Full stop.
And please, this blog does not belong to Yazid Sufaat, the 'so-called terrorist' who is already in the eyes of CIA, M15 and even Mossad, perhaps.

Getting Hijabbed in the OT (or OR)

This entry very much explains about the same predicament faced by Muslim female med students here.
(The photo on the left is obviously not taken in OT, it is in the Pathology Lab or anything like it)
Well, getting Hijabbed (even in OT) is definitely one of the fundament principles that can't be trade off - of course strict precautions to combat MRSA and what not are to be adhered too. That's why we have this 'sterile hijab' back home - everyone is happy then, since the Deen is protected (thanks Ariff Fahmi for reminding me about that Maqasid thing) and at the same time we are in compliance to the infection control guidelines. All in all, we're doing both - for Allah's interest and that of patient.
Oh yes, don't forget UNDHR eh?
Hopefully new developments soon will unfold and this issue ends peacefully. Please help us Ya Ilahi...

Peristiwa Subuh
Kalau tak boleh download, cuba click sini. Diambil dari blog ABN.
Raihan - Peristiwa Subuh
Tabuh berbunyi gemparkan alam sunyi
Berkumandang suara azan
Mendayu memecah sepi
Selang seli sahutan ayam
Tetapi insan kalaupun ada hanya
Mata yang jelek dipejam lagi
Hatinya penuh benci
Berdengkurlah kembali
Begitulah peristiwa di Subuh hari
Suara insan di alam mimpi
Ayo bangunlah tunaikan perintah Allah
Sujud mengharap keampunanNya
Bersyukurlah, bangkitlah segera
Moga mendapat keredhaannya
Begitulah peristiwa di Subuh hari
Setiap pagi, setiap hari
Waktu subuhlah waktu paling tenang.

Wallahua'lam.
Getting Hijabbed in the OT (or OR)
This entry very much explains about the same predicament faced by Muslim female med students here.(The photo on the left is obviously not taken in OT, it is in the Pathology Lab or anything like it)
Well, getting Hijabbed (even in OT) is definitely one of the fundament principles that can't be trade off - of course strict precautions to combat MRSA and what not are to be adhered too.
