Old horse = iBook G3

My 3 year-old iBook G3 is still up and running, after 4 major hardware failures. Personally I believe Apple has screwed up us. Huh!

And that old horse will be put under pressure (again) this winter, for recording the audio, if God willing. Somebody will set the equipment up and get it uploaded later on. The MO is documented neatly in this link:

Oh yes, BTW, its for recording of PUISI 2006 (http://www.ppimi.org/puisi06), not for concert or anything like that.

Serious Magic has a pretty line up of softwares for videographers. For examples, DV Rack, which allows you to recording direct to disk via Firewire. Sounds like French? Oh well, basically you can record straight to your laptop instead of on the tape.

Yup, if you get my drift, then you should understand that you can import the recording straight into your editing software. Cool!
